I woke up at 3 AM, entirely too early, and went into the park on foot. By 7 AM, I had already walked around 9 miles of the 11-mile scenic loop. The cove is covered in fog in the early hours, and the wildlife is more active so the whole park takes on an almost fairy-tale like atmosphere.

During the short three-day trip, I managed to capture much of Cades Cove, and on the very last morning, I was fortunate enough for excellent conditions, which allowed me to capture this fantastic sunrise.
